JJ Appleton
(Ke$ha, Jamie Cullum, Newton Faulkner, Pete Yorn, Edwin McCain, Sister Hazel, Joan Osborne, Tom Jones, Keb Mo, Hootie and the Blowfish), in his presentation on music for advertising, tv and film, discussed the creative, technical and business skills one needs to develop in order to make a living as a songwriter, composer, producer and musician working with visual media. In depth explanation of workflow, creative collaboration and current business practices were covered.

Paul Falcone
(Anita Baker, Robin Thicke, Mary J. Blige & Jennifer Hudson), provided his insights and experiences as a veteran mixing and recording engineer. During his presentation he discussed best practices for getting the best results in any environment, including a project or home studio, DAW mixing vs. traditional analog mixing as well as when and why to bring a project to a large format studio.
